Suar - Each tree has a unique, long lasting story.
Made from one of the most durable hardwood, the suar wood, the suar wood slabs are a natural beauty with wavy patterns and striking grains. Thanks to the enormous size of the suar tree, these table tops can be made in a single plank as wide as one metre, keeping all the patterns and texture in its original natural state.
The Suar trees we sourced are not the ones the primarily grown and harvested for furniture. They are a byproduct of their first life and past their most productive years and would be otherwise discarded. The trunk is left intact; still alive, it generates baby suar over time.
All our Suar tables are handcrafted and left with rough live edges to keep the natural shape and beauty of the wood. Even all the imperfections such as hairline cracks, knots, crevasses, and grooves are intentionally left visible to create this rustic, weathered and distressed look. The large size Suar tables make perfect dining tables for your living room or conference room.
The suar table we carry is a piece of one solid slab, size from 6ft to 10ft. The shapes are following the shape of the tree. Since each tree has a unique shape, there is no identical table and each of them has its own unique natural mark. All one-of-a kind. They have an average of thickness of 9cm.
In Thailand, Suar trees are an edible and medicinal plant. The seeds are astringent to boil drinking water, cure diarrhea and wound healing, wound infections. The fresh leaves can be dried to make tea.
Due to its crisscrossed interlocking grains, Suar wood is resistant to cracking from wood movement and is highly sought-after for its robustness. Moderately heavy but extremely strong, Suar wood is highly resistant to decay and dry-wood termites. These characteristics make Suar wood highly favourable in fine furniture making compared to other woods.
Only require basic maintenance (soap + water) to maintain its grandeur

]]>Cheap furniture will make your home or office look cheap. While investing in cheap furniture when furnishing your rental home or first apartment may seem like an acceptable compromise, it is not the perfect aesthetic to consider maintaining to adulthood.
For instance, high-quality live edge base furniture - dining room tables, coffee tables, workstation – make your home feel more visually pleasing besides adding a truly contemporary look to your space. And, if you choose carefully, you can decide to match any of these quality items with your chosen décor for the ultimate wow effect. Apart from enjoying the furniture, you’ll feel proud of your home whenever you have visitors over.
Good quality furniture pieces such as mid-century sofas can stay with you for a very long time. Cheap sofas or dining tables try to cover their flaws using surface level ornamentation. You should resist the temptation of pomp, and invest in furniture with high structural integrity, stain resistant fabric and neutral colours. On the other hand, good centrepiece furniture guarantees you chic elegance, accentuating good shape and quality felt. Additionally, you might even get more out of your sale price when you decide to sell the furnished piece.
High-quality furniture gives you a more comfortable living environment. Remember, furniture can age and settle into itself. Therefore, it doesn’t make sense when you try to compromise your comfort and posture by settling for the cheapest, available option. If you invest in quality furniture that is durable, it will eventually affect your overall well being and add great elegance to your space.
While the initial cost of buying cheap furniture may help save cash, your low-quality items will end up costing more money over time due to maintenance. This happens because these low-quality furniture pieces are more susceptible to wear and tear. In other words, you will need to replace the cheap piece with another cheap piece after a few months. Eventually, the cost of buying cheap furniture will quickly add up and cost you more than what you could have paid for a high-quality piece. Once acquired, a quality piece of furniture can last a lifetime, with most running up to 25 years with no maintenance.
First time home buyers can save some quick bucks by investing in a high-quality piece of furniture. You make good money on the buy, rather than on the sell. Meaning, you won’t need to make your home look live-in ready when you choose to sell if you buy a quality piece for your living room or bedroom.
Furthermore, if you invest in a high-quality piece of furniture, it will save you some money on repairs, especially if you move on a regular basis – moving can cause wear and tear on your furniture. Also, durable dining tables, coffee tables, chairs and sofas are sturdy enough to move with you. Meaning, you won’t have to buy new furniture every time you move.
When you invest in quality furniture, you tremendously accentuate your family room. Wazo Furniture provides you with a wide selection of high-quality, live edge furniture pieces that are customized to fit your décor. Our pieces are made from all-natural, reclaimed wood and are handcrafted in the most sustainable process possible.

]]>There’s no question about it. Live edge and mid-century furniture are a statement! They make a powerful, eye-catching, engaging, memorable and unique statement about your taste and style.
Today, these mid-century furniture pieces have become an upscale choice for a specific group of people with an upgraded aesthetic for natural wood and its natural color. And natural wood can blend in almost all spaces – from living spaces to dining spaces.
With this fascination with rough-sawn lumber, you can transform your living space and make your home livelier with side tables, coffee tables and dining tables made from all-natural wood. Freeform furniture is protected with coats of deep sealers and preserved with high-quality finishing coats. This process maintains the natural beauty of the wood grain patterns and accentuates its natural color for that rustic look and feel.
Also known as natural edge furniture, Live Edge Furniture is the naturally finished wooden furniture created from reclaimed wood that is not usable in conventional carpentry. Natural edge furniture incorporates popular mid-century design aesthetics and contemporary design elements.
Natural edge furniture is characterized by natural imperfections such as gnarls, knots, and warps. It is artistically beautiful, unique and sustainable. Often, the natural wood is sourced locally or salvaged without cutting trees or shipping wood from other continents.
Reclaimed wood reduces the carbon footprint associated with furniture manufacturing. Most people like natural edge furniture such as coffee tables and bookshelves because no two pieces are alike. Live edge is, indeed, the epitome of uniqueness! Each of these mid-century furniture transcends different styles such as rustic, modern, minimalist, or shabby chic to blend beautifully with its intended space.
For the longest time, people preferred wood furniture that was constructed to look perfect with right angles. Things have started changing from the symmetrical designs to more rustic, mid-century designs that are uniquely beautiful.
Natural edge furniture brings a new vibe to rustic home design. Most households have started embracing this trend and brought wood slab furniture into the mainstream home décor audience. Even commercial establishments such as restaurants have also begun investing in unique reclaimed wood furniture to change the look and style of their dining spaces. They are also using it as a way to tap into the growing niche of people with an upgraded aesthetic.
Typically, natural edge riffs on the idea of contrast. It provides a beautiful contrast of nature’s gnarled, chaotic beauty against human created smooth surfaces. This adds style to a piece of furniture or settings and expresses the natural origin of the wood.
Why Use Live Edge Tables?
The finishing process of our live edge tables is focused on bringing out the color and timeless beauty found in the wood itself. We apply several coatings of the finish and sanding to bring out the striking details of the wood.
You can feel the grains of the real wood when you run your hand over your tabletop, yet it’s protected. Our unique furniture products will give your home an authentic upgrade.

As accessories, single side chairs demand certain aesthetic features to stand out of the rest beautifully. Montreal-based Wazo Furniture offers mid-century and Scandinavian style single side chairs, whose designs play the dual role of attracting attention and mingling with the rest naturally. Here are some of the common spaces that often remain ignored and some tips to fill them up with mid-century modern furniture:
You might be thinking of wearing heels for a gala night. But how will you wear it standing, as you do not want to walk around your clean dream home with shoes worn outside? You do not want yourself nor kids parading around the house with dirty shoes! The solution is easy – a single side chair near the entrance. The low back metal Windsor chair is a good option for this. The flat surface seat of the low back metal Windsor chair avoids the concern of drowning into the chair while trying to lean forward to wear your shoes. The design also allows the chair to stand independently, while at the same time get coupled with a wood-coloured low closed shoe rack.
You decorated your living room with all the essentials like a couch, an armchair, central coffee table. But hey, what about that corner which still screams out loud? A mid-century design never fails to satisfy your needs of practicality and aesthetic beauty, both at the same time. A Bertoia Wired Diamond Chair, from the 1950s, is a curve-shaped, slightly deep-seated armchair made out of welded steel rods. Adorned with a cushion and the industrial material, the Harry Bertoia-designed pointed chair fits into any corner adding a sublime grace through art to the living room, and ease for a nice long chat with your friends and family.
The patio or the balcony is an alluring annexe to your dream house. Any kind of renovation, you go to the patio. A lot of guests in your house for a barbeque, you go to the patio. A single independent black Phillippe Starck Masters Chair, along with the primary patio furniture, can tailor any of your needs in the patio. Its unique re-interpreted three-in-one design not only adds to the elegance of the patio, the mashup also provides comfort with its low not-too-reclining back, and its curved shallow seat. Also, the UV stabilized and weather resistant material will keep you tension-free. Check out our blog "Grace Your New Patio with Masters Chairs" to learn more.
An open floor plan contributes to enhancing the spaciousness of the area. But it is always supported by a load bearing column. This roof support might make you wonder how and where to place your couch. But stop! Do not get disheartened by the column, it is necessary for the support and stability. No compromises on that for sure! A single side chair like the Forest Side chair solves this problem of leaving the load bearing column unfurnished and vacant. The intricate cut-out mid-century design of a tree of the Forest Side chair can be an appealing contrast against a white pillar, making the design ever more visible. The sturdy moulded plastic seat can be decorated with a thin round-shaped or a loose cushion, if one desires for extra comfort.
Boxes unpacked and the kitchen cabinets filled. With all the lower cabinets in your new kitchen filled in with the utensils and plates for immediate and everyday use, you decide to store the more expensive ones in the upper cabinets saved only for occasions. A side Tolix stool with a wooden seat is a good option for tough uses in the kitchen. The iconic mid-century designed stool is a robust and sturdy made out of powder-coated steel. A single side Tolix chair will make your kitchen look more stylized while at the same time providing enough practicality. To learn more about Tolix chairs and stools, please visit our blog "How Did the Tolix Become an Iconic Bar Stool?".
But perhaps the currently new but unfurnished patio might not appeal you. So, Wazo Furniture, Montreal, wants to make sure that you do not waste the sunshine in your new abode. As one of the primary suppliers of new Masters chairs, Wazo Furniture will help you decorate your patio perfectly and neatly. The innovatively crisscross-designed Masters chair is a comfy option for a small cozy outdoor area, not causing any spatial issues.
The Masters chair is an example of Phillippe Starck’s creative ingenuity. Starck designed the Masters Chair in a way that it echoes of three symbolic mid-century chair designs – the “Series 7” by Arne Jacobson, the “Tulip Armchair” by Eero Saarinen and the “Eiffel Chair” by Charles and Ray Eames. He re-interprets the three revolutionary chairs by making a hybrid out of them in an avant-garde style of mashing up the three outlines on the back.
The French designer Phillippe Starck’s career originally jumpstarted with the success of his designs for two nightclubs in the 1970s. This success fetched him a project of refurbishment of a private apartment in Élysées Palace for the then-French President François Mitterrand. His creativity in the Masters chair was honoured with the prestigious 2010 Good Design Award by the Chicago Athenaeum – Museum of Architecture and Design.
The hybrid of the three mid-century silhouettes can make your patio beautiful and soothing for enjoying the outdoors. But you must be wondering why exactly opt for a mid-century memento for a modern patio:
1). Whether your patio is grassed up or covered with wood planks, a pair of Phillippe Starck new Masters Chairs around a small round table is always appealing for anyone who likes to spend most of the day outdoors. The comfortable and light design adds style along with a casual ambience to the outdoor area.
2). If your apartment comes with a little porch or a small balcony, a single Masters Chair or a pair would be a good choice for two reasons – the material and the compact design. The UV stabilized and weather resistant injection molded plastic avoids the hassle of keeping an eye outside and sheltering the chairs from time to time. Also, the compact design, despite it being a cocktail of three, is a perfect option for all you minimalist guys out there.
3). If you have a slightly large patio or a back porch, and where the empty area is too conspicuous, you can also go for two pairs of Master chairs coupled with a four-seater dining table. This dining set can implant an idea in you for a pleasant outdoor barbeque during a nice sunny afternoon or for an evening family dinner!
4). For someone who prefers the vulgarization of the living space, the option of mix-and-match is always available. An individual Masters chair blends in naturally with a mix of an armchair, a single couch and a stool. Your backyard furnished with your own unique cocktail of single chairs will speak loudly about your open, casual and mellow personality.
A combination of the process of galvanization and the sleek design of the stool has ensured its convenience, practicality, lightness and durability under any weather conditions. Today a replica of the Tolix style seating is available in different kinds of models at the Montreal-based Wazo Furniture: H stool, Model A Chair, A97 Armchair, Armchair C.
In 1907, French designer Pauchard (1880-1948) discovered the process of galvanisation - applying a coat of molten zinc to metal to protect it from rusting - after attaining good knowledge about the characteristics of sheet metal and zinc. By 1927, Pauchard set up a factory manufacturing galvanized metal products and named it Tolix – the name that got on to be associated with these particular models of metal chairs, stools and tables.
Apparently, the sleek design of the stool was not finalised until 1956. Though Pauchard’s design was primarily directed to factory workers of a local firm in France, it is said that they had to tweak the original design a bit to fit the needs of a variety of public spaces. Thus, by the 1970s the Tolix stools had become an icon of industrial design and made their way into cafés, offices, hospitals, public parks and terraces.
The glossy rustproof slim model of the Tolix stool has now been improvised into different colours other than the original metallic grey, opening up more options to merge smoothly into the existing home décor.
Stylish, solid, durable and inexpensive, the Tolix dining chair and bar stool have made into many homes of Wazo's customers. Take a look at how our customers are styling their homes with the Tolix:
People often try to fill the empty space of living rooms with big furniture especially with leather sofa. Large size furniture like wood dining table in a small room makes you feel tied up with objects and makes it difficult to move around. You can search on Google for living room furniture for small spaces if you already have big furniture. It should give you some ideas about your options.
Solution: Substitute big living room furniture with smaller pieces. Try to leave some space beside your leather sofa.
I know it is enticing to place all the furniture beside walls so that you can have extra space in the middle of your room. But regardless it's a small living room or a large one, pushing furniture against the wall can create a big living room mistake. For a small living room it will look too crowded and for the large living room, it will look like a playground.
Solution: Bring the sofas and chairs in the middle of the room to make some breathing space.
Colour is pleasant for the eyes; lack of colours may turn your living room into a boring place. You do not have to paint all the walls, but plain white all along is not a good thing for your room.
Solution: Try to add bits of colour, put a good coloured rug on the floor. A few pillows on the sofa will change the feel of your living room.
It is a common mistake many people make while hanging art on the wall. It's actually quite understandable as you hang your art pieces while standing. However most of the time people will see your art while sitting on the sofa.
Solution: The standard height of art to hang is 57 inches. Measure 57 inches with your tape from the ground and the placement of your art should be the middle of that measurement.
You may think matching up furniture will look great like it looks good with matching outfit. But too much matching furniture in the living room looks like a furniture showroom. It does not create any personality.
Solution: Avoid matching furniture one to the other, rather try to mix different patterns with some showpieces, it will glow wtih your personality.
Most people make this mistake when it comes to living room furniture. Maybe that expensive Chesterfield sofa or those high back accent chairs are great looking but you have to test and feel if they are comfortable.
Solution: Sometimes compromise with the looks of your furniture vs. comfortableness of the furniture. Choose furniture that is stylish but comfortable as well.
Nothing can beautify the floor and give comfort to your feet like a rug. Rugs are also a great decorative tool to bring life to your floor. While rugs are common, choosing the wrong size can jeopardize the look of your living room.
Solution: There are two options to choose while you spread the rug on the floor. Either the rug should be as large as all of the furniture will set on top of it or as small as the furniture make frame off of it.
TV is the heart of every living room, without TV it makes everybody cheerless. But if you place the TV in the wrong position it may annoy everyone in the room. The most common wrong TV placement is putting it opposite the window or beside the window. Another mistake is to use any stand as a TV console without considering the overall aesthetics of the living room decor.
Solution: TV should be placed in an angle that light doesn't reflect on the TV nor fall on your eyes. And of course you can choose from a variety of natural wood TV consoles from our collections to complement your living room style.
]]>Plus, as every parent knows, hardwood floors often cause excitable toddlers to slip, slide or fall, especially if they're wearing socks (Risky Business anyone?). And hitting hardwood is a lot more painful than falling on a carpet.
The solution? Area rugs. They're the answer to accidental spills, direct sunlight damage, inadvertent gashes from furniture legs, and yes, preventing the shrill cries of an injured child.
But area rugs aren't just functional. The best ones also have tremendous aesthetic appeal, as the following examples will prove.
This Florence Area Rug displays a vivid interplay of dark and light colours, with silver flourishes on a navy blue background. Its sophisticated design is perfect for classic interiors, while its polypropylene-polyester composition makes it an ideal choice for Mid-Century Modern homes.
A mix of dark and light colours also offers considerable artistic freedom: the rug can be used to contrast against fairer-toned hardwood, as in this home:
Or complement the duskier grains of certain floors, like the reddish-brown example here.
Durable yet dignified, the Florence Area Rug also maintains its shape and colour in the most demanding traffic zones.
Almost the polar opposite of our first example, Wazo Furniture's Barkley Rug aims for uniformity and understatement. At first glance it appears like the surface of some pale hardwood floor (complete with grooves and a natural fade), but this handcrafted rug is actually made of soft wool, a natural fiber which is not only comfortable but strong. Its ivory hue is tranquil and relaxed, suitable for placement in front of fireplaces or as living room centerpieces.
Given its grayish-white colouring, the Barkley Rug blends seamlessly into lighter hardwoods, such as this one.
At the same time, it provides a sumptuous contrast against deeper tones like black or gray, and would add a clean, simple aesthetic to the following room:
No animals were harmed during the creation of Wazo Furniture's Grand Canyon Area Rug. Strikingly real, this luxurious rug was woven of synthetic materials but is authentically beautiful. Thanks to its acrylic composition, not only does the area rug look like genuine animal fur, it also feels like the real thing.
All the richness of fur without any of the guilt—what's not to love?
Plus, its distinguished texture helps the Grand Canyon Area Rug feel right at home on dark hardwood floors (for dramatic contrast), like in the gorgeous home featured below.
At the same time, its versatile nature makes it suitable for industrial interiors. Imagine the abundance of textures (wood, brick and fur) if the rug were placed on such a floor.
The ivory-grey Kingston Area Rug blends classic Persian design with modern materials, striking a perfect balance between form and function. Made entirely of polypropylene, the fabric is tough yet lustrous, primarily white but with a distinct dark fade, and simple when glanced at from afar—until a closer examination reveals the forest of intricate patterns and tangled contours.
Made in Turkey, the rug's diverse qualities help it adapt to any home. For instance, its light ivory colour matches the soft-toned hardwood of this modern interior:
At the same time, it would feel right at home on the floor of this classic and elegant bedroom, creating a powerful contrast against the dark hardwood:
Ancient yet modern, stylish yet functional—the Kingston Area Rug is full of contradictions. But one thing is for sure: regardless of room or style, it fits anywhere.
A polypropylene surface with a jute-polyester backing, the gorgeous Elton Area Rug appears brown at first but changes colour depending on light. The material is strong yet maintenance-friendly, while its glossy finish helps cultivate an air of refinement.
One of the rug's greatest advantages is its ability to harmonize with different surroundings. Thanks to very subtle and distressed patterns on its surface, the rug gives off a certain vintage charm.
That's why it would make a fitting companion piece to these old weather-beaten planks:
Yet still feel right at home in a more classy setting:
By merging elements of classic design with contemporary fabrics, the rug's shifting colours allow it to synthesize with all interiors.
Dark or light, hardwood or laminate, the Elton Area Rug has the look you need.

But this association of benches with dirt and grime has blinded us to their elegance. By taking them from the outside world and placing them inside, we remove the stigma of filth yet retain their greatest attributes.
What follows are some striking examples of this furniture at play.
It doesn't get any simpler than this. A Wazo original, this Solid Acacia Bench reveals the clean aesthetics of mid-century design and its ability to harmonize with nature. The trapezium legs provide just the right amount of visual juxtaposition and are interesting without ever being dominating.
No excess flourishes or paint, such a bench would fit perfectly into any minimalist décor. Or place it on the patio for some social time with friends and family.
This next item shows the power of organic asymmetry. The natural wood is uneven and irregular, but instead of detracting from the design such imbalances only enhance its beauty. Furthermore, the thick Acacia wood provides a striking contrast to the spindly hairpin legs in both shape and material.
Unlike most benches, what sets this Wazo original apart is that it has four legs instead of the typical two. A closer look reveals natural knots and furrows in the wood, an interplay of light and dark grains.
Just as every snowflake is unique, every acacia bench we make is one of a kind, differing by shape, grain and colour.
Indoors or out, the Acacia Live Edge Bench With Hairpin Legs makes a wonderful addition to any home.
The Acacia Walnut Wood Bench with Stainless Steel Legs is another Wazo original. A thick walnut surface complements the heavy metallic legs, but instead of appearing unwieldy or cumbersome there's a certain charm to its design.
For one, the dark, smoky walnut is such a pleasure to behold. When looked at from above, we notice the intricacies and complexities of its surface: the wavy gap instantly catches our eyes, the four hourglass shapes offering a glimpse of balance and symmetry in a sea of swirling grains, shady knots, and flowing contours.
For another, the stainless steel legs match the glossy walnut surface, allowing these two vastly different materials to achieve cohesion.
And don't worry: with such solid materials this bench can handle any crowd.
An icon of Mid-century Modernism, the Nelson Style Platform Bench is inspired by architect and designer George Nelson's original 1946 work.
So why the fuss? Because this bench combines art, architecture and furniture craft into one, offering form with function in perfect measure. The piece can be used for both sitting and display purposes, doubling as a table or centerpiece on which to place flowers, books, candles and more.
The aesthetics are also simple yet elegant: a rectangular surface with patterned slats and trapezoidal legs—geometric harmony at its finest.
Beautiful yet functional, whether you're using it as a seat or platform you can't go wrong with a Nelson Style Platform Bench.
This Stainless Steel Bench from Wazo Furniture is a nice alternative to the mainly wooden pieces we've seen thus far. Sleek, chic and sexy, the bench is a marvel of modern furniture design.
Not only is it a perfect match for our Bertoia chairs and dining table, but it can be placed at the entrance to greet guests, provide comfortable seating when changing shoes, or positioned by a window to let the sun's rays glimmer and twinkle along its edges.
Wherever you decide to place it, our Stainless Steel Bench provides functional seating along with lovely optics.

Just like an art piece, a statement chair draws the eye’s attention, so it’s the perfect piece to reflect your personality. (It also doubles as a great conversational piece when you’re entertaining company!) From geometric accent chairs to transparent ghost chairs, here are a few ideas for your next statement chair, no matter what your budget is.
Rather than splurge on a new painting or print for your walls, try adding a geometric accent chair instead to liven up the aesthetics in your living room. If you’re searching for an accent chair on a budget, go for a Konstantin Grcic-inspired geometric chair. The distinctive design will add an eclectic look to your living room seating area and can be moved to the dining room for additional seating as well.
There’s no doubt a Wegner-style shell chair adds a sleek look to any living room. While it's not as attention grabbing as a geometric chair, we love how its beautiful design functions as a more subtle accent piece. If you already have a light hued sofa, go for a shell chair in a birch wood with caramel brown leather or pale grey upholstery.
If you’re thinking of splurging on one piece to update your decor, a leather lounge chair is a great investment that will instantly add a mid-century look to your seating area. A leather lounge chair with warm wood accents like the Eames Lounge Chair will complement any existing wood pieces that you have (like a coffee table or bench). As a plus, this lounge chair is very comfortable as well.
If you’re a minimalist but still searching for your ideal accent chair, a transparent chair is a great budget-friendly way to add an eclectic feel to a monochromatic living room. Ghost chairs are a lot more than meets the eye: they can add a modern feel to your seating area and help give the illusion of an airy, brighter space.

Here are four must have classic mid-century accessories that are so perfect that they’ve warranted replicating and reissuing in the new millennium.
The Le Creuset Coquelle was originally designed in 1958 by Raymond Loewy, who was known as the father of modern design and most recognized for his streamlined, futuristic locomotive shrouds, along with many iconic logos of the mid-century.
The cast iron french oven has always been a kitchen staple, but the sleek ovoid shaped Coquelle is worthy of permanent display in your kitchen, even when not in use.
Another familiar mid-century kitchen icon is Dansk Kobenstyle cookware, first introduced in 1956. For many years these Danish designed enameled steel pots and pans were a thrift store treasure, but have been re-released recently making them readily available for a new generation.
What makes these pots extra fun, aside from the beautiful colours, are the unique handles that allow the lids to be used as trivets.
George Nelson and Associates designed many clocks over the years, but the most recognizable is the Sunburst Clock. It was first released in 1949 and has never gone out of style. It looks just as contemporary in a living room today, as it would have in a stylish home in the 1950s. This clock has become more like a piece of art decor than a time piece, especially in this digital age in which time telling is nothing like in the 50s.
The great thing about the wire diamond chair is its versatility. You can put it in any room. It’s a subtle piece that won’t overwhelm. The designer Harry Bertoia himself said “they are mainly made of air, like sculpture. Space passes right through them."
The chair is also more comfortable than it looks, which is why it’s still available almost 65 years after its debut.
]]>Looking for an easy way to revive your living room? Adding a statement chair in a black or white hue can instantly update your seating area. If you’re on a budget, this Bertoia-inspired chair is a great option.
To instantly add a cozier feel to your living room or bedroom (but still stick with the monochromatic trend), try adding a large rug in a muted grey hue. A rug with a linear pattern on it, like this charcoal Barkley rug.It can also add a modern look to any space.
A great way to transition your dining room to have a more modern, minimalist feel is to switch out your existing chairs with Eiffel-style chairs. This Eames-inspired Molded Side Chair is the perfect (and budget-friendly) option to instantly add a modern, uniformed look to your dining area.
A sleek, mid-century style sofa in a darker hue (like this Conrad Dark Grey fabric sofa) can be an easy way to add a more minimalist feel to your living space.
]]>
The continuous movement of the eye is the perfect illusion of extra space in the home. If one, for example, goes to buy a ghost chair, they should try to look for the one which has the same colors as those found in their home. This does not, however, mean that one looks for exactly the same color for everything in the home. If one has chosen to go for white, various hues of grey, silver and other colors close to white such as the light versions of pink are also welcome. Just keep out the highly contrasting colors such as red on a black background.
Many items in the home will immensely benefit from the three neat skills. You do not have to own a mansion to have a beautiful home. Rather, put these tricks to use and make sure that you create as much as space as possible. Better yet, employ minimalism in the home by only having the necessary items one needs to save on floor space.

Fabric sofas
These come in different types. Their support system also differs. Fabric Danish furniture is comfortable because they are soft and warm. They are a perfect choice for every season. A leather sofa set may get sticky and hot during the hot seasons hence feeling uncomfortable for you and your family. You can make this choice depending on where you live.
Maintenance
Choose a sofa that is easy to maintain. Ensure that the fabric you choose is of a high grade and quality. This feature reduces tear and wear and lets your Chesterfield sofa serve you for many years. For example, you can go for Danish furniture that is stain-resistant. If any liquids spill on them, then you can easily clean it. Unlike other materials, good quality fabric does not stretch.
Patterns and colours
Fabric living room furniture has unlimited colours and patterns from which you can choose. Choosing fabric Danish furniture gives you the chance to match existing home decorations with your sofas.
Affordability
Compared to other materials, fabric sofas are affordable. However, do not compromise the quality of fabric. Instead of buying low quality fabric that will force your to replace within a few years, get high-quality fabric sofas that last more years without wearing out.
Leather sofas
Do you or any of your family members suffer from allergies? The leather sofa is the best choice for you. These sofas do not harbor allergens, mites or pet dander.
Their look
Leather sofas give a certain feel of elegance. Leather Chesterfield sofa for instance, though traditional, is still trendy. They are easy to maintain and clean and you can use locally available materials to do so.
Other Options: Wooden living room furniture
Natural look
Wood has natural lines and patterns that make your furniture naturally beautiful. Once finished, the natural beauty comes out well.
Durability
These pieces of furniture are resilient. Hard wood for instance is naturally strong and durable. It might take many years before your living room furniture needs replacement. They make it easier for you to store and clean. With simple wiping, your furniture will look smart and sleek.
